Community Reassurance Patrol - Barkingside High Street

PCSO Naz and PCSO Martin carried out a foot patrol along Barkingside High Street, engaging with local residents and members of the public to discuss community safety and address any concerns they may have.

During the patrol, we conducted reassurance visits to local businesses and shops to ensure there were no issues requiring police attention and to strengthen relationships with the local community.

We also visited local banks and provided Crime Prevention Advice (CPA) to bank staff and customers using ATM machines. We encouraged people to remain vigilant, be aware of their surroundings when carrying out banking transactions, and take steps to protect themselves from fraud, scams, and other financial crimes.

These patrols are an important part of keeping our community safe, providing reassurance, and helping residents stay informed about how they can protect themselves from becoming victims of crime.
